Delivery and Cancellations

Delivery

We deliver to Metropolitan Sydney and selected surrounding suburbs. The delivery fee is payable in addition to the cost of your order and will be calculated at checkout. Delivery takes place between 9am to 7pm on the day selected on checkout. We aim to deliver to business addresses by 5pm. There may circumstances beyond our control which may result in deliveries after these times. Attempts will be made to contact the recipient if this occurs. We are unable to specify an exact time for delivery. 

We request that the recipient be available to receive the order on the day of delivery. If no one is available to accept the delivery, the driver may leave it in a safe place at the delivery address if authority to leave has been provided (option on checkout page). Otherwise, the package will be returned to our office and we will contact you to arrange re-delivery for an additional fee. For delivery of products containing alcohol, please ensure the recipient is aged 18 years or over and is available to receive the delivery, as a re-delivery fee may be charged if delivery is not possible.

We are not always in a position to contact recipients or other parties by phone if the requested delivery location is unattended or to obtain further delivery instructions. It is important that you provide clear and accurate delivery instructions on the checkout page when placing their order.

If delivery is not possible and authority to leave is not given, or when supplied with an incorrect address, the order may be returned back to our office. In these cases, the customer will lose all money spent on both the product and delivery. Your order may be re-delivered on the next business day for a charge of 50% of the original order cost plus full delivery fee. We cannot guarantee re-delivery on your original requested date. For Subscription Crates, the original cost of the subscription as well as the original delivery fee will be dividend by the total number of crates in the subscription to arrive at a cost for each crate to calculate re-delivery fees. 

Taste Crate remains exempt from any liability or responsibility for loss or damage arising as a result of parcels being left at at an unattended premises and/or due to an incidents arising from 'returned, damaged, melted, contaminated or undelivered' products.

 

Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled date of delivery. If cancellation notice is received less than 48 hours prior, the cancellation will be invalid.

Cancellation of order incurs a $30.00 administrative fee - money will be refunded less this fee. Cancellation of Subscription Crates will result in the full payment being lost.
